Kees is overall industry thought leader within the Global Sector for Consumer Products and Retail at Capgemini, and has more than 25 years working experience in this industry.
He is responsible for the strategic relationship with The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF, global, parity-based industry network that is driven by its Board consisting of the 50 CEO’s of the worlds leading retailers and manufacturers). Kees is leading initiatives such as ‘Future Value Networks’ and ‘Consumer Engagement Principles’, involving executives of the most leading consumer goods and retail companies.
He is co-author of many Consumer Goods and Retail thought leadership reports, with focus on industry collaboration in the digital age. Examples are ‘The Future Value Chain’, ‘Serving consumers in a sustainable way’, ‘Succeeding in a Volatile Market’, ‘Building Strategies for the New Decade’, ‘Beyond the Label’, ‘Consumer Engagement Principles’ and ‘Digital Shopper Relevancy’.
Most recently Kees has been leading the development of the new CGF industry-vision ‘Rethinking the Value Chain, new realities in collaborative business’, under the sponsorship of the CEO’s of Coca-Cola and AEON.
Kees has a long track-record as leader of digital initiatives in both B2C and B2B domains at leading retailers and manufacturers around the world, such as Ahold, Carrefour, Tesco, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Philips.
